Christopher Burk is a visual artist known for his documentation of the mundane, almost unorthodox beauty that is found in countless urban neighborhoods in both the Midwestern, and Northeastern parts of the United States.
Burk studied at the Columbus College of Art & Design, and the University of Akron with a focus on Painting. He is represented by Brandt-Roberts Galleries -Columbus, George Billis Gallery - New York, Bonfoey Gallery - Cleveland and Gallery 19 - Chicago.
His work has earned him various recognitions, including most recently, a Greater Columbus Arts Council/Columbus Museum of Art Visual Arts Fellowship, a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, and numerous Individual Excellence Awards from the Ohio Arts Council.
