Christopher Burk is a visual artist known for his documentation of mundane environments that are found in countless urban neighborhoods in both the Midwestern, and Northeastern parts of the United States.
Burk studied at the Columbus College of Art & Design, and the University of Akron with a focus on Painting. He is represented by Brandt-Roberts Galleries, Columbus, George Billis Gallery, New York, Bonfoey Gallery, Cleveland and Gallery 19, Chicago.
His work has earned him various recognitions, including most recently, a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, and Individual Excellence Awards from the Ohio Arts Council.
